How to disable 5G on Apple iOS Android

In some cases, you may wish to disable your 5G. In this guide, we will walk you through how to do this on IOS and Android.

IOS.

1. Go into Settings.

2. Go into "Mobile Data"

3. Click on the eSIM you want to remove 5G for. (In this example, we are going to use "personal").

4. Once you are in selected eSIM, click on "Voice & Data"

5. From here, you can turn off 5G by selecting "4G" instead.

Your 5G is now disabled.

Android.

1. Go into Settings.

2. Click on "SIM cars & mobile networks"

3. Once in this section, click on the eSIM you want to turn 5G off for

4. Click "Preferred network type"

5. Here you can deselect 5G and enable that you want to "prefer 4G or prefer 3G".

(In this example we are going to select "Prefer 4G")

Your 5G is now disabled.
